As a part of our final project for the course unit of Comic Books at university, we were required to make a 4 page comic based on a song from the album "Transa" by Caetano Veloso with text being the main focus of the exercise.
My pick was "Mora na Filosofia" and I focused on the repetition of the line "Para quê rimar amor e dor?" (Why rhyme love and pain?) to explore the story of a frustrated songwriter.
I tried to mix two distinct visual languages while working entirely digitally and to work with text as a pattern and visual element, not actually important by its content, but because of the look it brings the page.
